5.0 out of 5 stars Great for HTC Incredible, May 19, 2010

Based on the pictures and other reviews, it looked to be what I wanted for the HTC Incredible. And I was right.

In "portrait" view, the cable plugs in on the bottom, left side of the Incredible and drops straight down. In "landscape" view, the cable plugs in on the bottom, right side and goes off to the right.

Both data and charging works on the cable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice and thin, but be aware of handedness, December 28, 2009

This is a very handy micro-USB cable with a right-angle plug on the device end. The cable itself is thinner and more flexible than most USB cables, so it's much more pleasant to use with portable devices. The right-angle plug and cable don't project so far from the edge of the device, so it's almost ideal for my Droid, especially when it's in the dash mount! Why "almost" ideal? Because the right-angle plug is left-handed, that is, the cable points to the left when plugged into the Droid (when held sideways) or to the top (when the Droid is held upright). My car's power plug is in the center of the dash, so it'd be better if the cable pointed to the right from the driver's side of the dash. And when holding the Droid upright, I'd prefer the cable pointed down. So I wish there were a right-handed version available, but this is still a much nicer cable than those with bulkier connectors and wire!

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems cheap, but works fine, March 7, 2011

First a note about the right angle. I bought this for my HTC Evo. With the Evo held upright with the buttons and connector at the bottom(let's call that portrait mode), the cable extends to the left. With the Evo in landscape mode with the buttons to the right, the cable extends down.

As for the cable, the connectors seemed fine but the cable was really thin. I don't think there's any (significant) shielding. (minus one star) The lack of shielding *MIGHT* be problematic for data transfer, but I have not tested it in that manner. I only bought this cable to recharge my Evo while in the car and it works fine in that regard.
